EL CAPITAN.

My worst enemy.

I'd like to pass on what I thiiink I've just discovered about my macbook pro and cintiq? So cintiqs tell you to have your computer 100% off when you plug in and turn on your cintiq. Apparently it can cause an electrical surge! I've talked to other artists that haven't had this problem at all but I've been listening since it really doesn't take my computer that long to go through the process anyways :T

However all mac users should be told that El Capitan has a tendency to turn off your USBs when your computer is asleep. A lot of people haven't been able to charge their iphones and whatnot because of it and I do believe that it's been giving me some interesting problems as well.

Because I've been having a disturbing amount of sudden shutdowns from my computer. I did clean it just in case it was that but nnnope. It seems like it might be the computer essentially allowing itself to be punched in the face by my cintiq. It is a little reminiscent of when my charge cable was broken and it caused surges at times; macs turn themselves off to avoid being damaged.
